Ted Leo & the Pharmacists
TL/Rx put their all into this show as always. This group never ceases to amaze me. I'm sad to say I'm a long-time fan, and I've never taken pictures of previous performances! Super stand-up guy, very down to earth, and rocks the hell out of your ears. And You couldn't have a better addition, none other than James Canty! Just to prove their "punk-rockedness", they did a Dead Kennedy's cover and Ted invited a guy from the audience to sing it, then finished off the set with a Misfits cover! You guys frickin' rock.
Detroit Adventure
Roaming around Detroit, are some great textures, and interesting sites to see. We started around the Chene park area, went to the old Dequinder Cut area to check out it's progress, and ended up at the Belle Isle Conservatory (gallery below). Pictures are now available for purchase!
Detroit Conservatory
Part 2 of the adventure. The Detroit Conservatory on Belle Isle is really cool. It doesn't give you that steril feeling, which is nice. It's just overgrown enough to make it feel natural, but not too overgrown where you can't walk through and/or enjoy the plants. If you've never been, I highly suggest you go!
